Colorless dent removal: how to save the hood after hail and
Hello! The car was badly damaged by hail. There are about a dozen dents, but the paint is intact. Is it realistic to do without putty and painting to preserve the factory paint?

I'll listen too. And if there are dents on the hood's stiffener, is it really possible to pull them out, or is the metal already stretched too much?

Hail damage is a classic that paintless alignment technology can handle with a bang, if, of course, a master with straight hands takes on the job. Factory paint is now very elastic, it stretches perfectly with the metal, so if there are no chips, then after proper body massage with special hooks and vacuum suction cups, the car will look like new. Even complex creases on the stiffeners are now successfully reduced to zero using induction devices and blending, when the tension from the metal is removed by delicate tapping of fluoroplastic cores. To understand in more detail what defects are amenable to restoration and how the cost of such work is calculated, you can see a detailed description of the technology httрs://autobodylab.com/services/pdr/, where all stages of restoring the geometry of parts without losing the original value of the car are professionally described. The main advantage here is that the repair takes a few hours instead of weeks of waiting in the paint shop, and when you sell it, no one will be able to poke your hood with a feeler gauge and knock down the price. So don't worry, find a proven studio with good lighting, show them the damage, and by the evening you will have your beauty in perfect condition!
